Independent Business Reviews
When a business is in difficulty, the majority of lenders require the submission of an Independent Business Review before they will engage in loan restructuring and/or additional lending.
Dains Ireland work with management to prepare a comprehensive review of all areas of a business which gives reassurance as to the viability of a business in the short and medium term.
In order to support the financial understanding of the business we also liaise with a number of specialised sector consultants to ensure the review incorporates local relevant issues, comparative data, identifies areas of growth and key risk areas.
We work closely with the owners and management team to ensure that the true picture of the business is presented. We are also very aware that the business is actively trading and therefore are unobtrusive in our approach to ensure business protection.
All submissions will be discussed with management before presentation to the lending institution to ensure all parties are aware of the starting point for negotiations.
Loan Restructuring
An overhand of the Celtic Tiger years has been the level of debt held in businesses, the financing of which is stunting investment in new product lines.
Dains Ireland has actively engaged with financial institutions to assist in restructuring a number of loans to allow optimum return for all stakeholders. We are very aware that every business is unique and requires their own tailored approach. Your refinance is dependent on:
– Full understanding of the business
– Performance to date
– Future Plans
– Sector Challenges
– Understanding the cash flow cycle of the Business
– Repayment Capacity
– Experience of the Principals
– Security
